Gameplay

There are three different modes you can play in Fortnite. The first way is Solo. Solo is you against 99 other players. Next is Duo, it’s you and a partner against 49 other teams. Next is Squad. This can be played with UP TO 4 PLAYERS. So the amount of teams you’re competing against varies. The object of the game is to out live every other opponent and try to get kills. The game is played in 3rd person. This means that you can see everything except the person’s point of view. (see picture above)

Item Shop

The items in the shop are paid with V-Bucks. You can buy V-Bucks in the STORE or earn them from leveling up. There are many items, they have skins, gliders and harvesting tools. The worst to best are highlighted as the following:Green(Uncommon) Blue(Rare) Purple(Epic) Gold(Legendary). These are all priced diffidently. Purple is 1500 for skins, 1200 for harvesting tools, and 800 for emotes. For blue, it’s 1200 for skins, 800 for harvesting tools and then 500 for emotes. Green is the cheapest because skins are 800, the harvesting tools are 500 and the emotes are 200. All gold skins and gliders are 2000. In my opinion, I think Fortnite should add golden emotes and harvesting tools!

Skins

My last blog is about the skins in the item shop and the ones that come with the battle pass. The battle pass is a seasonal pass you can buy for ten dollars. It gives you extra stuff such as skins, gliders, emotes and even more V-Bucks! If you do not purchase the pass, you can not obtain any of these items. Skins in this game show how much you play or spend on the game. If you don’t have a skin, you are more likely a person who does not play that much. But if you have the reaper skin (John Wick), that means you played quite a lot. Now the new pass came out, and there are new dances and skins.
